Snooper S6 Blind as a bat

I recently borrowed an S6 as I was thinking about getting onr. Tried it out on Gatsos and yep it bleeped but didnt seem to indicate a radar unless it was facing me.

Yesterday was driving along, hopefully inside the limit when it started to indicate radar and yep just level with the passenger door was the camera and radar well hidden. No advance warning at all the S6 just picked it up as I was level with it.


As it seemed a shame to waste the opportunity for a test I drove past again at 20 just to make sure and again exactly as I passed it started! I then put my own bell 550 to work and it gave me 200 yard warning roud the bend.

Is this a common problem with the S6 or is it just this one?

Is the radar unit under the bonnet ? if so it will only pick up what it can see out of the grille . Ive got the S6 and its not bad but i havent got the radar laser module for it as i was told its not to clever so ive kept my S5 for that job

Nope as I'd just borrowed it I stuck it on the screen where I normally put the Bell.

I went back with guy who I borrowed it from and it was the same in his car. He's now after a 550!
