A big thank you to tonyrec

Thanks to tonyrec's ever informative posts prompting us to mull over the finer details of the Highway Code and Roadcraft, he has unwittingly helped me a step closer to winning a driving trip to Italy!
I don't know if anyone remembers this but a couple of months ago a link was posted to a competition being run by Dunlop. There were a few questions about the HC and I thought I'd pass the time filling it out. Well, to my great surprise I received a letter a couple of weeks back inviting me to the South and South East regional final. What's more, having attended said final along with 3 others from the ten invited finalists I won it!
I'm now one of 7 through to the final, competing to win a trip to Modena to spend a weekend driving various Ferraris (328, Testarossa, 355, 366, 575M), a trip to Cortina ice driving with Audi, a day driving supercars on track in the UK or a Porsche or Ferrari for the weekend (which unfortunately I'll be inelligable for being a year under the required age of 25
).
So, back to why I'm thanking tonyrec. Well, apart from the regular prompts to gen up on the HC in general, one of Tony's recent posts about pedestrian crossings had given me the knowledge required to correctly answer two of the thirty questions. This proved crucial as in the end I won by only 1 point over second place!
For anyone that's interested, the two multiple choice questions were: Other than pedestrians, what other hazards should you be looking for at a Toucan crossing? And what stage in the traffic lights does not occur at a Puffin crossing?
So thanks Tony, I owe you a
