On Saturday, when shopping I saw a van, camera and 5 muggers (sorry operators) in Nottinghams Victoria Centre. How many speeders do you think they caught? Well a number of people were walking faster than 3 miles an hour!

So now they feel the need to sell the idea to the public because obviously, the public aren't swayed by the "speed kills" message. Should these parnerships need a PR department or would every one be happy with the idea if it was implimented in known blackspots with the intension of reducing speed rather than making money.

My blood was boiling when I saw them but I resisted the urge to go up to them and give them a peice of my mind. However, I did have a very loud conversation with the Mrs about legalised mugging and criminalising innocent motorists. I think many people in the shopping centre may have over heard my "private conversation"

I understand that current government guidelines are for the scameraships to use 5% of their income for PR purposes.

That's a hell of a lot....

Glad I only went to Richer Sounds up the road then, cause I'd have been unable to resist the chance to have a go at them. I see them driving back to base most days on my way home and I have to contain myself from giving them a coffee shake then

Too many shoppers not looking where they are going, it must be an Accident blackspot.

I went up there to that crappy cafe, then turned round and walked out because it stunk! In my hungover state I must have missed them!

To top it all -

Today I saw a standard police Tranny on the Mansfield road partialy hidden buy trees on the forest. It had two small windows at the top at the back open (i'm sure there is a techincal name for this van but I don't know what it is). A short while down the road, were two police cars and two motorist stopped.

Coincidence? So I guess that while the Scamera Partership are off doing their PR job, the BiB are having to raise the money for them.

And they keep telling us that no police time is taken from Law enforcement in order to catch speeders.

Edited to say - unless they were catching Tax dodger - which is ok
