OK, here goes:

Due to a comment I made in a previous post, several people have expressed an interest in either individual or group buys of a Disqualification Insurance policy.

Apologies if i'm repeating myself to anyone but essentially it goes like this:

I have a deal with an insurance company that enables me to sell a 'disqualification insurance' policy with every Snooper or Morpheous product I sell. Essentially, this means that if you lose your licence through the totting up of points or a straight ban the company will pay you up to £6000 during the year for your travel expenses. Thats for getting to work and back, taking the kids to school, going on holiday - whatever you would ordinarily do had you not been banned.

Now I can also sell this as a seperate entity.

The only grounds for application are that you have 6 points or less at the time of application, are 18 or over and have never had a licence refused on medical grounds.

And, no, before anyone asks its no good buying the policy now because you have court appearance looming! That doesn't count! Any PENDING points or ban at the time of application is not covered. Nor is anything to do with dangerous or reckless driving and anything to do with drink or drugs - but I guess you all knew that already.

There are similar policies avaliable, but as far as i'm aware, this is the only one that pays for ANY transport you may require.

The full policy cost (bar buying anything from the website) is £59.95 (how cunningly priced below the fine for 3 points...)for 12 months but for a group buy of 10 or above I could get this down to £53, I reckon for 20 or more I could get them down lower.

Let me know either by email or phone, or on here, if anyone is interested

Cheers,

Mark

how would you prove expenses?

take taxis everywhere, get reciepts and exchange?

how 'good' are the for claims..

what 'spend' limits do they have..

Limos allowed etc... but once your £6k is up its up.

or only ABC cabs cheapest of the cheap...

etc.

You claim your expenses at the end of every month by providing receipts, yes.

I believe they are kosher with their claims procedure, they ARE regulated and no-one has made a complaint to me so far.

I understand they judge each claim on a 'best practice' basis, for example: Getting a taxi to take the kids to school is fine, getting them a limo is not!

However, I believe if part of your job involved travelling up and down the country a driver may be the cheaper option. Every case has its own merits, they are promising to keep you in your job, not ferrying you about in luxury!

Isn’t it great to live in a country where there is actually a market for insurance against persecution by your own government.

I’d be interested BTW

It is indeed a sad state of affairs when a company can make money from selling a policy such as this.

And that there is enough to demand to do so.

Anyway, I digress, we have 4 people now, anymore for any more?
