What can I do (if anything)? PC took details down correctly at roadside, had to produce MOT, Ins & D/L (details recorded for Ins & D/L).
Should I dispute it now or use it as an example of inaccuracy in the prosecutions case??

Won't get you anywhere I'm afraid. They will use the "slip rule" and classify it as a minor clerical error and move on.

Surely your in luck. As I understand it legal documents can't be served with the incorrect name on them and if incorrect they have to be rectified. So if there are any time limits at play then I'd keep quiet until they have passed the limit. See what else is said. It's certainly not your job to help them. So, you don't have to attend at any court hearings or enter any please or discuss it.

Godfrey is right. Again there is case law to this and Godfrey is spot on.

I once got done for "exceeding the 70mph speed limit by doing 67.8 mph" I knew it was a typo (should have been 97.8) all the legal advise I got said "they'll just change it and the court will accept the change" it was fun though and dragged on a long time.

PS what did 318ti do to get sin binned ? IMO I've always thought he was a bit of twat but nothing too serious.

Godfrey may be right but this won't apply until they find out the name is wrong, so who's going to tell them? The recepient of the summons isn't under any obligation to do anything.
