Hi Folks

Well, I declined the offer of the FPN (3 points and £60) and produced my documents at the police station.

As you probably know was done apparantly doing 42mph in 30 zone by traffic plod when on a test drive.

Anyway, when I send in the bottom portion of the FPN to the magistrates do I sign it or not?

The other question I have is, once I do send it off, do I get a NIP? What document are they likely to send me?

I am hoping to sort all this out through the court, but I require the boards backing here with info and advice! i will keep you all updated of course!

Thanks Folks

Yep, sorry you were reported at the scene (FPN) so no NIP to contest. You’ll have to face the Magistrate and give your arguments.

Thanks for the info guys!

Okay I am preparing my explanation for the magistrate, but I am going to write to the chief constable first.

I have spoken to a solicitor and have a few good points to go on so, once I narrow down the exact argument I will post the notes here.

Thanks again guys, any pointers are always appreciated.

Thanks
