It seems longer ago but some of you may remember that at the end of August some loon decided that it was OK to jump out of his car and attack me in mine.

Well thanks to advice (and a bit of bravado) from some of you guys I didn't let it drop and I came home this evening to a letter requesting that I attend Alton Magistrates Court at 13:30 on 08/01/2004 to give evidence...

Good luck Phil, and well done for sticking it out.

Copper rang me yesterday to say that the pikey who I caught after the robbery at Tesco got four years for kidnapping (He previously plead guilty, so I didn't get my day in court!). Judge specifically mentioned me in his comments during the sentencing hearing, no wonder my ears were burning!!

I didn't get the person who attacked me, so I'm rather keen for justice (and possibly revenge) to be done when it happens to others.

Actually I have to say I'm actually feeling a bit crap over this ... 8th Jan is slap bang after Xmas and if things were reversed that would really kill any family fun over the festive season...

I'm going to see a Magistrate friend of mine to see if I can get some advice over what to do on the day and what to expect. I'm kinda hoping that he just gets a slap over the wrists rather than any sort of fine because given the car then I doubt they have much spare cash ... I wouldn't like to think that in following this up I may have caused his family hardship. (Or is this me being too soft?)
