Following on from the other thread and the program on tele about SYorks bibs - why aren't all the forces taking and crushing cars that are driven by the obviously uninsured/unlicenced and dangerous cars etc etc?

Eventually we'll get all the crap/dodgy cars off the streets, the illegal drivers will have nothing to drive and the world will be a better place.

AND it would only leave the licensed and traceable people to get for speeding so they win both ways.

I was quite impressed to discover this happening locally.

160 down - too scary to think how many more thousands are left.

If this could be made profitable (like the scameras), then maybe the powers could tackle this problem better? Honest people wouldn't have to pay whatever it is, 10-20% of our premiums to go into the fund to cover uninsured accidents..?

It is for us

We have a number of councils on our books who get a very good deal on removing, depolluting and baling motors
