Now this has made me mad. A scrote killed a mother and her daughter in a car accident. Said scrote recently got awarded 6 points and a £150 fine.

I was caught by a scamera van doing 89 in a 60 and got 5 points and a £285 fine. I was speeding, but didn't harm anyone or anything (apart from my licence!)

Was my offence effectively worse than his?

With the pathetic legal system that we have is it no wonder that "normal" people are getting increasingly more annoyed with it?

No bloody speed limit signs, I thought it was a dual carraigeway.

I have recently been banned for speeding, I also didnt realise speeding was a more serious crime than killing people.

I got done for approx 95 in a 50 and got 3 points and a £60 fine. Why do fines and points differ so much?? I know people who got done doing much lower speeds but got a larger fine with more points! I ain't complaining though.

But to your point, it's so sickening I don't get angry about it anymore, I just give up when I hear things like this

But I know what I'd do if I was a member of that family!!

Its a speeding lottery, the only winner is the company running the lottery ( the Goverment ) cher - ching.

Its silly we need some firm guide lines for all the judges etc to stick too.

Where's the link to this article?

I'd be interested to see how fast the "scroat" was driving...

Another "more to it than that but I'll leave all the relevent content out to make a point" thread...
