Speed trap M11 / A11
Discussion
There I was driving along minding my own business 1 mile into the A11 near a lay-by and I found out why the UK is becoming such a safe place to live in. One scamera van (with more than one camera?), two police estate cars plus another police estate car on the next bridge. The van is obviously positioned on a slight bend to promote extra safety.
The argument has always been that the police are paid for by the fines, fair enough.
Question: who the F
K is enforcing real law and order whilst they are earning their wages doing this?
Business must be better than ever for criminals - it makes me proud to be a tax payer.

I would be suprised to see a scamera van there - and by the sounds of things it wasnt. There isnt a massive presence of police on either the M11 or A11 simply due to the road engineering - they are both fast roads and with VERY limited junctions.
Considering the high speeds that people average on the road they could make a fortune, but in general its pretty safe and the nature of the road means that its not on the "dangerous" list....
There are much more dangerous and targeted roads in the area - A10 for example.
