Was flashed on 15th November driving my mother's car and subsequently my father (the registered owner at the time) received an NIP asking for him to name and shame within 28 days. This car is now my wife's and I can't believe that I got caught in the Alfa and not the Cerbie!Anyway, he obviously sent it back stating that I was driving and now today, nearly two months after the original incident I have received an NIP asking me to name and shame within 28 days. they do not tell me how quick I was going and state that they have technical and photographic evidence to prove the allegation.Have I got any options? can i ask to pay a larger fine, go on a speed awareness cause to dodge the points?

Depends on the county. Northants offer this (a relative got done there) and the cost for your Good Citizen Rehabilitation Course is £60. Whether they charge you for the electrodes they stick in your head as well I don't know. Probably.
Write back and ask them for photos as you can't remember whos driving. They go on ABD website and select a solicitor. Put whole thing in their hands. Two things to remember here. (I have got away with seven of these confounded things) The more non standard response and confusion you can inject into the situation, the more chance you have of getting away with it. Second, the more of us who buck the system the less chance it will have of working, ie if everyone wrote and asked for the evidence the whole thing would be collapsed by next wednesday and they would move on to another stealth tax.
