So then, an Al Qaeda agent could phone up the police, stating that they've armed a bomb inside a speed camera somewhere in London. The bomb squad would then travel around having to destroy all the speed cameras with their 'controlled' explossions.

Legal Disclaimer: I am of course joking and I don't condone any such illegal activity. The joke expressed is my own and is not the view of the Pistonheads website or its members, probably

Sorry... I've just read that story again. Let me get this straight, they installed a 'secret speed camera' because somebody was murdered? What's that about? If somebody gets murdered, do they become a KSI statistic?

I don't know why they have a photo of a speed camera, it doesn't appear that a speed camera was involved, just a normal survellence camera which was being used for a very serious case.

When I was at Uni in Bristol I lived next door to the TA centre on Whiteladies Road. One day the road was cordoned off for a bomb scare.

Army bomb disposal blew up the suspect cardboard box to find it contained pamphlets with info on how to react to suspect parcels

The sadest thing about this is that it is now possible that a killer has been alerted to the fact that surveilance is going on and now may change his/her habits.

IMO this story should not have been published at leat until the murderer of this girl is caught(and hung)

Nice accurate reporting from the BBC. Nothing new there, then.
