class motorists in Fulham; you can bet that those who treat speed limits with contempt are also likely to be fiddling their taxes and embezzling stationery from the office.

Nightmare writer. So because I speed, I must be doing other things wrong? god I must be a coke dealer or something then.

SO if they lower a limit because of a lentil muncher requests it, and I keep driving at the old limit, that means I must steal from the office?

FFS!

It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if Paul (Smith) from SafeSpeed is already putting together an appropriate response to this load of rubbish...

More than that - I've just had the Editor of the Spectator PROMISE to print my response.

So I guess every cloud does have a silver lining after all.

Any libel/slander? lawyers here? Has this so called reporter not just libelled every honest law abiding citizen who has had a speeding ticket as a fraudster??

Yes, I noticed the statistics he used dried up when he started lumping graffiti artists, drug dealers, speeders and fraudsters together. So disappointing after his previous use of the stats - 'reckless/careless driving?!? Well that's just another name for speeding isn't it? Hurrumph'....

Good luck Paul and Ted.

As we read these articles, we recognise the fallacies, un-truths and spin. Unfortunately the general public fail to understand this and take everything they read as gospel.

All power to everyone trying to show them the error of their ways.

OMG, they're right...I've just found a black BIC in my shirt pocket, and I'm fairly sure it's from work. Might as well start pedaling coke on the streets now, my life as an honest citizen is over.

Catch a graffiti artist and the chances are that you have also caught a drug-dealer.

Someone should tell the cops, this info will make it much easier to win the war on drugs.

If you speed that makes you more likely to be involved in other criminal activities seems to be the argument they are pushing.

In that case can I ask what else the Police driving instuctor caught doing 98 in a 60 has been up to, by the logic they are applying a man who would break the speed limit by this much must also be a criminal mastermind!

No wonder Brunstom has such a poor clear-up rate in North Wales, with all the speeders the place must be populated by no-one but criminals.
