Unsigned fixed penalty notice

If a fixed penalty notice is unsigned by the police officer is it void?

No it is not. I'm not aware of any rule which says BiB must sign it, unless anyone knows different. Basically, if you don't wish to accept the ticket, for whatever reason,, then fill in the back of the ticket to request a court hearing. Sorry!

Theres no point requesting a court hearing as the reason the ticket was given can be argued
