Captain Gatso strikes again?

There are a couple of cameras in my area that have been targeted. Both of the firebombed. One of them was replaced and then fried again within two week, before they had even got it operational! 
The best story I heard of camera abuse didn't involve the camera being destroyed though. I won't tell it here cos it's pretty long winded. Unless people want me to of course.

Sorry for the delay guys, have been a little busy.
Here goes:
Guy in a nearby village gets caught by Gatso. He is in the local pub that night moaning about it. After a few tins, he starts saying that he's gonna take his 4x4 and tow said camera down. His sober friend calms him down by saying: don't do that mate, I've got a better idea.
The two of them and a couple of other friends then go to the sober guys place. They then make a few modifications to his car, and drive past the same Gatso, setting it off.
About three weeks later, a picture appears in the local paper, asking if anyone knew the people involved. It was a picture of a yellow BMW M3 convertible with the number plates covered by pieces of carboard, on which the word 'BOL
CKS' was written. And standing up in the back were three guys with their trousers down, mooning at the camera!flooritforever said:

'Fraid not. Heard it third hand at best, and was several years ago. Probably sunk without trace. Will try and find time to make some enquires though.
Reminded me of my student days. For those that know the area - there is a GATSO on the A30 as it passes through the centre of Sunningdale. Being a poor student, I had a 1980 Mini Convertible. Driving up one night around 0200, I stop. Open boot - thus no plate visible as it is on the boot. Drive past at 45 mph, obligatory finger raised, with roof down, so the camera got a full view as it flashed!
For the next month I was convinced that I was going to get pulled by Surry Police, but I never did!

Give 'em time........they've got computers now.
In your position, I would be reluctant to book a holiday...........
