Brumstrom's bully boys at it again
Discussion
A prospective MEP has received a letter from Ass. (
) Chief Superintendent Anwyl suggesting she is a racist, after comments she made at a public meeting. A video tape of the meeting contradicts the police version and supports her version. Nevertheless, in addition to entirely mis-quoting her remerks, the letter threatens "swift police response" if she makes "inflammatory comments" again.
Of course, such a threat can be taken with a pinch of salt ... unless of course she mutters any such alleged comments under her breath whilst passing a scamera at 31mph.
Mind you, the North Wales police priorities for response and action appear to be headed by speeding and so-called "racist remarks", with burglary coming a poor last.

Read it. Creepy, huh? Notice he used the word "sinister".
Of course PC seems to have taken a deep root in NW police. A columnist criticised them some time ago for using, " expensive Canadian software" in their new "Diversity Development" unit. This unit takes complaints from anyone who feels that someone is racist, homophobic, etc.. These reports can be made anonymously, so they may not even be true !!!!!
THe police response to the criticism was to accuse the writer of having a dislike of French speaking Canadians, the French and the USA!!!!!.
All because he mentioned "expensive Canadian software"..........that's all he said - no mention of Canadians, the French or the USA at all.
Astonishing.

Tafia,
Where is the word 'sinister' used?, 'cos it's not on streaky's post..
Police units that allow anonymous reporting, are generally for reporting crimes of a racist, homophobic etc nature and are there for those who fear (often with good justification) reprisals from an attacker who may live close by. False reporting by the two groups mentioned is above, simply because there are far too many genuine crimes, as I know from personal experience.

The word "sinister" was allegedly used in the letter from the Acting Super. He is reported as writing to the lady as follows:
"It is my considered view that your brief contribution to what was an open debate on policing was at best grossly offensive and highly discriminatory. At worst it could be described as having sinister racial undertones.
It contributed absolutely nothing to the debate other than cause deep disquiet and suspicions about your personal prejudices"
end of quote.......
The lady had made a commment on the behaviour of some ruffians on the said estate which last year saw a large group of Kurds wandering through Wrexham equipped with clubs, baseball bats and other weapons.
Not really acceptable in a civilised society is it?
Yet the officer seems more concerned with so-called thought crimes. Is the lady not allowed to express an opinion without being threatened with "a speedy police response" should she repeat her remarks. They were not racist remarks as suggested, they referred to criminals. It seems the worst racists in UK are those who appear to find it everywhere they look.
As for anonymous reporting to the Diversity Development Unit, who checks to find out if the complaint is genuine? Real or not, our names could go on a database and we would not even know about it. And what are they going to do with this "information"?
