For those that fancy a day out, tomorrow Wales.

Public Meeting — Llandudno — Sunday 1st Feb
A number of local businessmen and North Wales Motorists (NWMot) have called an open public meeting on Sunday February 1st at 14:00 at Bodafon Farm Park, Bodafon Road, off Nant-y-gamar Road, Craig-y-don, Llandudno LL30 3BB (Streetmap). Refreshments will be available for purchase.
The group are currently discussing the issues of policing and crime prevention & detection in the community, also road safety and the abuse of speed camera technology, with their elected representatives and other organisations. We believe that these issues should be discussed and any problems resolved via the democratic process. This process will be concluded during week ending 31st of January.
The meeting is called to report back to the public and media on the outcome of this work and to canvass opinions and so determine any future action.
NOTE: No formal addresses by Politicians or the Police are planned for this meeting. Any police officers present in a professional capacity are expected to say so. All are welcome and free to express their views. The group will be making a video record of the meeting to prevent any misunderstandings regarding the purpose or content of the proceedings. The Group feel that freedom of speech is not something we will give up lightly.

Clearly a wise decision in N Wales, home of Bundersturmfurher and his Storm-troopers.

Support the BBC in making sure Hutton doesn't wreck that.

Shows how far oberstürmbrunestromführer is going to propagate socialist totalitarianism that a group of free people have to film a meeting to protect themselves against possible state/police agression!!!!

I wrote to my MP a couple of times on this and he supports Brun.

But then he also voted for tuition fees even though that breaks their manifesto promise of not introducing them. But what can he do? He is also Bliar's PPS, the one we always see with Blare, sitting in the right hand rear seat of the limo.

There are two letters in today's Mail on Sunday criticising the police letter to Mrs Elphick. One speaks of the beginning of a totalitarian state!!!

Amazing we should be writing such stuff in "the cradle of democracy"
