Can any legal bods advise me if it is possible to review a case online if you have the case number. A major creditor looks like they have three judgements against them but I cannot seem to find out online? can anyone help?

Hi

If you have the case numbers you can contact the court and obtain certain copies of the documents associated with the proceedings i.e.
(a) a statement of case, but not any documents filed with or attached to the statement of case, or intended by the party whose statement it is to be served with it;
(b) a judgment or order given or made in public (whether made at a hearing or without a hearing).
The court may charge you a fee for it - but they should be very easily obtained. There are some instance where you cannot obtain access to documents, and the court will advise you about this in each scenario.

In the alternative, if you just want to know about Judgments its best to do a crredit check against them - details of Judgments and amounts will be listed on the report.

If they have judgments but they have been paid within 30 days then the register or credit check will not show them up, you will have to get the case number and a copy of the judgment from the court.

Best of luck

Do you have the case references? Are they county courts? The Case Reference can indicate which court they were in and then you can ask the court the names of the parties involved.

so there is not an online listing indicating whom the creditor is?
