Evo/Networx Road Angel Offer Last Year ...

Anyone else buy a Road Angel this time last year as part of the offer from Networx Automotive in Evo mag?
The deal included the RA, Laser Alert, and second year subscription to database updates for an all-in price.
Anyway, I've been very happy with the unit but after the first year have just been contacted by Black Spot (maker of the Road Angel) who have written asking me to pay £49 for my next year's subscription to data updates. I've phoned Networx and reminded them the deal was supposed to include the second year and they have said verbally they'll sort it with Black Spot. They may well do as they say and take care of it without further grief so I'm not moaning yet, just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat and whether they've been sorted out to their satisfaction.
