Just 3 points and average £150 fine... its worth it. When was the last time I had to prove I was insured? er...
A lot cheaper than one of my year's car insurance!
Why are we honest people?

How about take the person out the car, take car and person to nearest crusher and crush it (the car, not the person). And fine them for the privilege, ban them for driving for 1 year.
These parasites on society really annoy me. Us law abiding people pay for them though higher insurance, our taxes etc etc. They are scumbags.

A VERY good question. I often wonder.
Given a conversation I had yesterday with a senior plod from the London area, about half the London boroughs don't prosecute for driving without insurance AT ALL! They send a letter to the registered keeper "reminding them of their responsibilities to insure any vehicle stored or driven on the highway".

Pass those 'plane tickets, there must be a better place to live. (Once upon a time I would have been joking when I said that. Now I'm not so sure.)
Oli.
On Sky news this morning , they had this story about confiscation of uninsured cars , i guy had an accident it was his fault , but the other party had no insurance ,but ,,,wait for it , could still claim on the insured mans insurance even though he was uninsured ,how in the name of sweet baby jesus is this possible ...

The uninsured should then be prosecuted by the police and get the full penalty - including a fine which includes the full repair cost of his vehicle.
Marki said:I know what you are saying but are you sure this is the case? Would there not have been another car in that place at that time instead?
sure the insured was at fault as he admitted , BUT the uninsured driver should not have even been on the fooking road , therefore the accident would never have happened
I don't condone the uninsured, He should have the book thrown at him and his car crushed (as per another thread). Then no problem with insurance.
Maybe the insured can sue him privately for contributing by being on the road illegally?
Marki said:I know, stupid really. Maybe if they do decide to crush the cars of the uninsured then this sort of issue will become less of a problem. There would be no point his insurance fixing a car that was to be crushed the next day.
I dont know mate , your right about some other poor bastad probably getting whacked instead ,but this sort of thing is stupid , go a bit too fast and your bollocksed , no insurance no problem it seems

we can only hope this gets put in place , maybe this will hurt the Scrotes ,,, i mean a fines no good because they dont pay it .
Completely agree! refer to my earlier post.
We are forgetting that we live in a britain where the social fabric has deteriorated, punishments for these scrotes are laughable and prison has tv and snooker tables etc. etc.
Meanwhile, the hard working generally law abiding citizen gets stung in numerous ways to help pay for these scrotes, and to help rehabilitate them!! But oh no, society made them what they are!! How about some hard work and honest living. Work hard play hard and enjoy it! Rant over!
