Hi. Bit of a long shot here.

Unfortunately my uncle died in May 2008 and the only will found (very conveniently) was over 15 years old and made out to his then wife (now ex wife of the last 12 years). As it stands she has inherited his entire estate.

However, my family believe that he made a will in the last 4 years, after he separated from this wife, which was not found at his house. Is there any way to check via an online search facility, network of law attorneys or any other means whether my uncle had completed a more up to date will?

He lived in Texas we live in the UK.
Thanks
Warp

IANAL

Is it true that marriage or divorce automatically annuls a will?

Did your Father die in the USA or GB, different rules/laws will apply.

Wings - thanks for that suggestion, looks like a possibility.

C O Jones, my uncle died in Texas, which is in America and I am aware there are different laws there. I am not aware if divorce or marriage anuls a will as IAMAL either.
