Gave my house cleaner the heave ho due to too many no shows and falling standards.

I have now waited a patient three weeks for the return of the front door key despite a few texts and calls - nothing.

I'm inclined to threaten a bill for change of locks.

How would you deal with it pls?

Thanks,

Nick

Can't believe you were foolish enough not to do it face to face and get the keys there and then.
Did they have all the keys?
We only give ours the yale but not the chubb
Fair comment. For various reasons the news was given over the phone so face to face not possible.

She just has a front door key.

I can 'do this' but wondered on what others would advise. If I were to threaten lock change costs am I on good ground (as far as I can be).

You will not require the whole lock, just the tumbler. £15 it cost me when I last bought 2 years ago and 10 minutes work. Hardly worth the hassle really.

Right you are then thanks.

Will my local B&Q hold these parts, or do I need a locksmith?

Okeedoke. I can do that no problem.

Thank you for your thoughts and input. Much appreciated.
