Looks like it might be a de-badged RS, in silver, covering the area between York and Middlesborough (A19?).

Just in case...

Its a Cleveland Police car so wont go as far north as Sunderland.

Cleveland also have a red Pug 406 & a white Octavia used mainly for training.

Cleveland have 5 or 6 Octavia vRS's

1 x 51 Reg - Unmarked
at least one 03 Reg - Unmarked (i know, i had a test drive in one before they got it..)
and 2 or 3 with full markings & light bars.

Also, they have a couple (maybe more) of white Octavia RS's, but i'm told these are the instructors cars now. The white ones are a doddle to spot as there are very few plain white Octavia RS's in private hands, i know of a maximum of 5, a few of which are de-stickered WRC versions

As for the A19, yesterday, 2 marked & 1 un-marked Skodas were working with an ANPR van which was parked in a lay-by just north of the Dalton Lodge.

You have been warned

Wierd.....Skoda have come a long way haven't they? I'm 30 years old, but if you had told me that the police would have been using Skodas 15 years ago....I would have pissed myself.

If you'd told me 2 years ago i'd be driving one now, i'd have reacted in the same way.

Only time i laugh now is when some muppet in either a ridiculously cheap Saxo, or hideously over-priced BMW tries it on
