Some valid observations being made but not a very balanced view...

Sadly, she didn't seem to have all the facts she needed. There were many times when she was asked tough questions that WE would have been able to answer, but she stumbled and rattled of the usual prewritten politics stuff.

Anyway, as we have all noticed in the past few months, the tide is finally turning

Yes, I thought a point she could have made is the fact that, like the interviewer, not everyone is a fan of cars and many would take an alternative should there be one.

The tite may very well be turning , but please, do not get complacent anyone. It could go either way still, so keep up the pressure.

Thought Ms. May was pretty good, did mention the lack of government support for alternatives more than once, and even quoted an example from her own constituency. Interviewer appeared anti car, appeared to approach subject from the pro camera angle.

I was very impressed with her. She was arguing just the right angle. Road safety is a complex issue that needs sensible debate and that we should be concentrating on safe driving. Slow <> Safe

Yeah, she did come across very well, no emotive bollox and that interviewer seemed pretty crazed in comparison, his arguments were absolute conjecture
