Is not always good enough.

For example, is it better to stick to a speed limit, or to stop an amber, if it *causes* an accident?

I had to brake sharply because of some eeejit, and the repairs took 3 weeks (10 days to get parts, rest to fit). Makes me think that sometimes it would be better NOT to brake for speed cams if someone is really close to you???? and not to brake on amber?

But how does the law regard it if your photo can show a numpty tailgating you?

well I'd say your number plate could be obscured from shot if they're that close, so you'd have nothing to worry about. Also, maybe the radar couldnt distinguish/get confused between the two so close together to get a true speed reading.

I am not a radar expert so i may be takling twaddle
