since MG get there ad banned on grounds of encouraging breaking the law, who fancies complaing to the ITC about vauxhalls ad?

its a van type thing, it collects the kids right outside school gates (naughty but no lines) then pulls of without indicating.

blatanty putting children at risk I say, BAN IT!
lets get all the ads banned, make them look foolish for banning MG

Give it a go - only takes one complaint to get things banned these days (easier if you can show that you're a Guardian reading, tree-hugging, sandal wearing, bearded greenie b******* tho!)

Trouble is it's the ITC that regulates TV and the ASA that banned the print ad. The ASA are a harsher bunch.

My 14 year old daughter made an interesting observation of this and the Toyota Corrola (I think) ad. Both show junior school children getting into other peoples cars. As she reminded me, I spent years telling my kids never, repeat never, to go off with anyone else after school or get into someone's car, whether they knew them or not. Very obteuse standards if you ask me - mature adults can't be trusted with ads touting performance according to the ASA, but the ITC are more than happy to encourage kids to go off with strangers.
