Bit of a long one this.

I got pulled for speeding in my TVR a couple of months ago, and whilst I was at the side of the road being debriefed by the PC he saw that my number plate had irregular spacing. As he was in the process of writing out the form to send me to court he very kindly let me off with the additional £30 fine for the plates, but told me to get it changed and that he would be looking out for me in the future.

The other day I was again out and about in my Tiv and once I'd parked up in the local garden centre noticed a police car had pulled up behind me.
Same copper.
Same plates.
£30 fine.

No problem so far.
The Policeman is only doing his job (I knew the plates were "Iffy"), and fair play to him, he had already let me off with it once and I had ignored his advice.

The bit that I'm not happy about is the fact that he knew I'd not changed the plates as his "Friend" is a security guard at my place of work and had reported me back to him.

Worse is that the policeman then told me to change the plates on my Mini too.(Very similar to the ones on the Tiv)
The Copper has never seen the Mini!!!
Both times I've been pulled I was in the TVR.

Surely this is not on.

What business is it of this security guard?
The plates were not 100%, and have now gone, being caught/pulled is one thing, but having a grass at work?

[devilsadvocate] Seems to me he's reporting someone for breaking the law, as any reasonable member of society should [/devilsadvocate]

But I would be miffed too!

I should go and thank him for being such a law abiding citizen. Tell him you're going to follow his example in future...

I agree with Ted. Be cool - cold even. You have to be *really really* whiter than white to dob someone in for something so trivial nowadays.

You're right to be pragmatic about getting done for the plates, but...

Personally, I'd drop enough hints to make sure this 'friend' didn't sleep well for a looooong time. I assume you know a bit about his life? Bit on the side - seen her popping in to the Genito-urinary unit - what's his Mrs' temperament like? Having a few hours' kip whilst at work - does his boss have a generous nature? What's the tread like on his tyres - ooh, that's not safe. Couple of days late with road tax? You know it's your civic duty.....

My approach to life - always be nice to everyone, but give the distinct impression that you could be very unpleasant if the occasion demanded

Given how bad Security guards are(some at my last place of work were implicated in Nicking PC's and mobile phones, and another at my first stole cash from other employees but was scre31ng the Security Boss (Female) so was defended to the end (of the dept)) it shouldn't be too difficult to land the coniving g@t in it.

Nah, much too straight. Anticipation and tension are a much better weapon.

Never strike the first blow. Never strike the last one (don't show your hand). Always give the impression that you could strike the blow to end all blows if you had a mind to. Be seen with the sort of contacts that give evidence that you can punch way above your weight.

I'm not coming across as a nice person here, am I?

@ all this pussy-footing about.

Get tooled up and find a balaclava. Wait for the fker to come off shift, beat him to within an inch of his life and dump him unconscious in a skip. Just before refuse collection would be best obviously.

If he lives he should count himself lucky.. if he dies it'll save him a world of pain.

What a ing worm.

In fact, forget the beating. You need petrol and a match.

Realistically, Rude Girl is right, but frankly I'm so sick of humanity now, that I'm planning a campaign of genocide.

Note to self: Always be nice to rudegirl.

Carzee, you seem a little calm this morning, not had your coffee yet?

BTW: Tyre tread is a very good one to check on. The police will take you seriously if you report his tyre thread being low (only do it if it is of course!).
Ive seen it done to someone in revenge.
All in the cause of road safety of course.

How old is the security guard, old enough to be a retired copper (& hence your plods friend)?
If he is then tread carefully.
If not then make his work life a misery. He'll have a lonely time at work once you make sure all of his & your colleagues know what a snide tw@t he is.

We have an obnoxious officious arrogant hun in our street, the rest are just normal pleasant germans, this barsteward called me over the garden fence because I started mowing the lawn before 14°° !!! and complained. (It is the law that it's (supposed to) be quiet between 12°°and 14°°) But it was 1350 FFS!

So I got out my tyre tread gauge on a later date, and when I knew he was looking out of his window, I measured his tyre profile and checked his MOT (sticker on plate in germany) and madeas if I was writing it down....... Since then he's been very very polite!!!!!

Install a covert camera in his security shed and record him "tugging the head off it" in his coffee break...then send his boss a copy and anyone else you think might like one.....

Have added Rude Girl to my "when revenge is required" contacts list!

I wonder where that 30 quid fine you handed the copper went to each time....not wanting to be unduly cynical but this sounds a little like mates together making a few pence...wonder how many other people who work at the same place as you have had "generous £30 left off fines".......hmm.....

Carzee...Im always up for some pre-mediateted sociopathic genocide....which demogrpahic would you like to start with ?? (im torn between 14 year old lads and old people)
