Valentine One Upgrade

I bought my original V1 from their website (where they are far less expensive than European retail) but had to go through the pain of shipping via a US address. It's a few years old now so I typed the serial number into their website for upgrade information. They said they will swap it for a new slimmer model with Ku band, slightly enhanced radar sensitivity and greatly enhanced laser sensitivity for under $200. So I popped it in a Jiffy bag with my credit card number. In return I get the email below so have to go through the hoops again on shipping. They boast like crazy about their upgradability so why not make it easier?

I imagine their agreement with the UK retailers of the Valentine prevents them from selling direct in this country.

They do not want to encourage people to do what you are doing.
