Hi, could really do with some help, from anyone! Please!
I handed my car over to a dealer to sell, he sold it (to another car dealer) and never gave me the money.

Who has title please? This has been going on for over 2 years now, and I just so desperately want my car back.

The original dealer was up for fraud but the case was dismissed by the judge, saying it was a civil matter, so the new 'owner' is now trying to offload it as quickly as poss, and I have a short period of time to try and get it back, but can't find anyone to help me.

The DVLA have just signed over my V5 and won't help.
The Police now don't want to know.
We have even tried Trading Standards, who also won't help.

And I really need someone with any help/advice or experience in this field.

You really need to get to a solicitor pronto and get some proper advice and try to get some form of injunction put on the resale of the car. Would help immensely if you have some paperwork to show that the original dealer was selling it on your behalf.

You don't own the car any more. You're owed money by the dealer you gave it to to sell.

No, it was a Porsche.
First dealer had the initials SW

I take it you had some form of contract with the dealer who sold the car? What were the terms of the contract? Just thinking (never seen one of these contracts though) that it will grant the dealer title to pass on then you recover the costs from him. However, there may be a term which says that title does not transfer until you have received the money....

Just hire some meaty debt collectors or just take him to the small claims court

What he said and it is a civil matter , bloke owes you the money from the sale of the car , you gave him the car to sell therefore you passed title to him for that purpose
