My wife and I both drive her company car, with us sharing the drive to work some days.

I received a Notice of Prosecution today alleging an offence, but I can't remember who was was driving that day.

Is it worth veiwing the photo to see who was driving ???

If it is not obvious who was driving from the photo, what happens then ????

cheers,

write to them explaining that more than one person drives the car, and that being diligent you require a photo to assist you in finding out who was driving....
dont admit tp anything...send it registered post back to them....... and wait and prevaricate but don't sign the NIP or send it back or even admit you received one on time......

Can the photo be used to identify you ?

I thought this was against Human Rights, I would interested to know since I have just had a very similar thing happen

Which particular Human Right did you have in mind?? There is no right against being photographed in a public place.

Sorry twas a stupid answer, I'm new here but wish i'd become a member much earlier as the info is invaluable. I wasnt sure if the photo could be used to ID the driver but clearly it can, next time I shall read more before inserting foot in mouth
