hi there if you have a small number plate on a motorcycle with smaller letters do you get points on your licence it use to be a fine but ive been told you get points now does any one no cheers

Another quick one which doesn't really need a dedicated thread, I have a small private plate 6 letter, 7 characters with a space. I have trimmed down the plate leaving 15mm at either side of the letter, legal requirement I was told. Is it legal?

Legal border is 11mm. For the legal specs google "DVLA V796" for their factsheet.
