the silly cow said:

“Haven’t these officers got anything better to do? Like stop drunk drivers or car thieves?”

Now with an attitude like that its quite likely she would have been nicked by a proper copper.

What that would have done however is ensured she slowed down on the way home.

Another great argument for safety cameras

.. she failed to spot speed camera cops standing beside a 30mph road. She was clocked doing 42mph on the way there and 37mph as she motored home.

.. I was going a bit fast but was concentrating every inch of the way. There were no speed camera signs and the road was clear.

good concentration? doesn't sound like it.
and her speedo was probably showing 45-50mph -- in a thirty..

so why didn't the police pull her over rather than just take photos?

I'm not surprised she was caught speeding twice in three minutes, she can't make up her mind about how Keith can have his tea next time. Firstly she says, "Next time he can get his own.", then: "Next time he’s having his tea black." ; ) - Streaky

OK this woman's a feckwit, but a trafpol would have given her a maximum of 1 ticket and sent her on her way at 30mph, which (if you believe the hype) would have been "safer" for all concerned.

hmm.
Chav breaks into 2 houses on one night, get same sentance as chav breaking into just one house, eg;- Kenyan safari.

Why 2 tickets? seems a bit off.

Really she should have been stopped at the first offence, otherwise what's the point.

However, I have no sympathy for her, she should have walked for a starter the lazy cow.

Secondly no accidents in 12 years of driving, she's 53 for christ sakes, why didn't she take her test until she was 41 - I doubt her ability of being observant, I'll bet she drives at that speed everywhere 42 in a 30 and 42 in a 60.

Oh and what on earth was she thinking letting the milk run out in the first place, Keith really needs to think about his position in this relationship.

The point has already been raised, but here it is again.

Why was the woman not stopped first time?

By letting her continue they are letting the purported risk of her causing an accident by speeding continue unabated.

I dont see that as helping the public at all.

What if......she had caused an accident a mile down the road?

How would that look in the press?

Woman caught by Camera-cops allowed to continue and goes on to kill

The motive and only result of the catch is therefore to secure a FINE.

Totally agree that a Trafpol would have had far more impact on the situation had they pulled the driver and issued a stern b0llck1ng, but the fact that they let her continue and get her twice shows that the scamera partnership doesn't care for safety only profit!

As for those who say

why use the car for a short journey?

Why not use it?
She or her partner (keith) pay tax and insurance and have a legitimate entitlement to drive the car.

Her car will no doubt have a power sapping catalyst fitted to ensure that the car only produces all that nice C02 the trees and plants love so much

Back on topic,

Trafpol yes.......double ticket for cash......no
