Anybody else see tonights news about the Dept of Transport survey on accident causes? Speed was near the bottom of the list and very low in percentage terms. Northamptonshire plod spokesman response? The survey is wrong!!!!!!! Unacountable and out of control.

Those who have a vested interest in speed control (jobs, revenue or other reasons I can't fathom) simply won't want to believe such surveys any more than they want to believe the information given in the safespeed site (or any other counter point-of-view for that matter).

Quite right James, dont forget its a nice little earner too. It was £16,000,000 to the exchequer last year.
