Cleaner and More Power
Discussion
I know it is SLIGHTLY off the point on this forum, but did anyone else hear the interview on Radio 5's, Up all night program, I think tuesday night.
American chap who has invented a way to make ANY engine cleaner! and increase power output!
He explains: "most of the pollutants from a car engine come from unburned fuel emitted from the exhaust.
His invention he say's can be fitted in about 30min and consists of a aerosol unit which sprays the same oxidisers as are present in your catalytic converter directly into the cylinders WITH the fuel.
This he claims, promotes a more complete burn, giving a cleaner exhaust emission AND more power.
He has I understand, tried to get it shown at motor-shows here in this country but, "the manufacturers have their own "agenda."
Anyone know anything more?

MMmmm! So simple Eh! Got the idea that it may be something else, But you may be right though!
P.S. Wouldn't this clean up the exhaust of older CLASSIC cars? I pressume it would be injected at a much lower rate, than for the normal "power" requirements. May be worth it though, depending on price, especially for an older performance car, to "keep it clean enough" for MOT purposes.
