Have I got away with it?
Discussion
Chaps,
I got an NIP in late January which (after careful thought) I signed and returned like a good boy.
However, I still haven't received my points. I reckon that there are 2 possible explanations:
1) I have got away with it.
2) They are nabbing so many motorists now, I am in a huge queue and my points will arrive soon.
What do you fellas think?
Thanks.

You are not even 4 months in yet. Many people receive their summonses right at the end. Although, if it was a low speed, summonses are unusual.
Can you clarify please?
At the end of what? I was doing 63 in a 50 zone. Is it usual to wait this long? I was expecting 3 points and a £60 fine.
Thanks.

The end of the six months (to lay the papers) statutory time limit for a speeding prosecution.

I would have expected a FPN for such an infringement, which are usually sent much quicker. However, there is no time limit (apart from the six months) on a FPN.
