Steve - I won't be going but if it's a help (for info etc) contact Ernie Aguilar at ernie@lovecars.com and his web site is www.lovecars.com.
He's a known visitor to some UK vette-nuts from the US.
He's quite involved with SEMA and regularly shows at least 2 projects of his own at the venue.
He's a great guy and his web site is worth a check!
Tell him I sent you, see if he remembers me.

Contacted Ernie - got a v. pleasant reply and, Yes, he does remember you John. Hoping to hook up with him when I am over there. It will be good to sort of know someone over there!!!!
I am in Vegas for 3 days but he tells me that the two days I have allocated to visit the show won't be enough. Apparently the exhibition is 18 miles long. Not too sure what that really means but it must be v. big.

Steve - I'm pleased. If you've not met big Ern, he's a total gent, you've got a treat in store, as Mr Gamsa would be only to ready to attest to.
I'm certain you'll have a great time, if any of Ernie's pictures of prior SEMA's are anything to go by.
Not to mention the rubber-necking.
The downside, you're feet won't work afterwards.
