Recieved & installed my Chip.
Discussion
Ordered my 415 chip 10 days ago and it arrived at my doorstep last friday,so saturday morning i pulled the Jeal chip out of the ECU and installed the new chip.
On firing the car up it was quieter and tick over levelled out comparibly quicker,the car even smelt better.
Driving the car it seemed smoother thru the rev range and more "Natural" without the annoying revs staying up when standing at junctions,we havent yet scanned the chip as advised by the supplier but i was supplied with a sheet describing how the chip was programmed.
Our (ZR1 & C4 self help society) intentions now is to scan the chip and also transfer the imformation on to a flash chip and if any modifing is required we can then modify the flash chip leaving the Mark Haibeck chip as standard.
The chip cost around £250 (including shipping and duties) and was calibrated from a near identical 415 using standard cams,head porting and headers.
The order came with;
1x chip
1x spec sheet
1x Reciept
How a transaction should be done!
My Jeal Chip is now for sale,i have no reciept and no spec sheet so no reasonable offer refused,any starters for a quid.

Glad to hear that improvements are there already. As regards the Jeal chip, I suggest you get it analysed unless the guy who put it in your car is willing to comment on its programming.................
We did scan the jeal chip and it was struggling to say the least ,no wonder the motor was trying to detonate @ WOT.
