Try Amanda at OCW - these people are so helpful and stock OE if you can't locate any alternative.

Try Robin at Autopontiac 0208 894 5930 I know he does metalic lined pads, and can get EBC pads "green / red Stuff" ... for North American GM cars www.ebcbrakes.com/Automotive.html

quote from manufacturer

"An ECE R90 approved pad, legal for street use yet capable of stopping you from regular 100mph plus runs without fade. The pads just keep getting better the more abuse you give them"

They don't squeak at all and work fine hot or cold.

I haven't tried the Red Stuff pads, but I'm using the green stuff pads at the moment and they're a bit feeble (oh and the stuff about virtually no brake dust is absolute crap!)...

Would be interested to hear how those using the red-stuff pads get on...

green stuff is supposed to be better for winter months as they work better in the colder weather, I know one of our racey members have just swapped out the red for the green

I was going to get Red-Stuff a couple of weeks back, but I am a bit low on cash so I've put them off. Hope the fitting goes well.. Are you doing it yourself?

I get much less dust with Red Stuff than with the stock pads. Mine are Red Stuff V2 which aren't ceramic as far as I remember. I've had them on just over a year with no problems last winter even during that really cold and snowy snap.

EBC were telling me the difference between the ceramic and none, and it was something to do with ther reds glazing over in certain conditions and causing noise or something which apparently the ceramics have eliminated.

I only need the fronts but they have told me if i dont change them all it will upset the braking balance, good way of getting me too buy all 4

Yes i will be fitting them myself and painting the calipers at the same time to the red caliper scheme.

Let us know what they're like as I know that on Corvette Forum, they don't like ceramics. I have Hawk Performance pads on my Z28 which are very good and I'll use those on the Z06 when they wear out.
