C5 Wipers

Hi all,

I am not in desperate need, but I think maybe I only have another 1/2 season left in the wiper blades before they need changing.

In Halfords you can get replacement wipers & blades, but I am not sure what for the vette. What does a C5 use as a replacement spec? Or do you need a special vette wiper.

I replaced just the rubbers on my 1996 Vette wipers. This is easier than trying to change the wipers as the depth of the vette wipers are critical so that they hide behind the hood.
Just measure the length of the rubber bit (usually so many inches) and then get a replacement from Halfords.

I went to Motor World for my Camaro and I think it uses a Champion or Bosch X60 (from memory). The salesman will be delighted to assist. The fitting looks different but it will go on. I know because the guy at Motor World in Stratford-Upon-Avon refused to be beaten. I imagine the C5 wipers are similar although I've not checked. The Camaro has a steeper rake so the wipers are, if anything longer.

Are they the same as C4 wipers??? I have a new GM set still sealed for the C4.
