Hi folks,

I've bought a couple of fairly rare Corvette DVDs recently to watch on my humble PS2 (with Action Replay multi region) and said humble PS2 decided to break down! So, got a new one and it turns out that the new type of PS2 won't allow multi region play, even with the cheat discs!

SO, I'm left with two discs that are absolutely useless to me. I could, of course, go and buy a proper DVD player, but it seems a bit much to just play these (and my wife might not be too happy...). As far as I know, these are the only DVDs available exclusively about the 'vette. Seems a bit mean when you can buy the complete history of the Ford Fiesta nowadays!!!

So:

1. Corvette: The Fastest 50 Years (Double Disc boxset)

Amazon description:

Release Date: February 3, 2004
Classification: Unrated (US MPAA rating. See details.)

Edition Details:
• Region 1
• Colour, Special Edition, NTSC
• Number of discs: 2
• ASIN: B0000CABF0

I've already watched this disc set before and the two DVDs cover the history of the 'vette with an interesting interactive timeline for each year that not only tells of changes to the 'vette, but also includes snippets of world history. There are a number of bonus footages including original 50's and 60's GM documentaries about the racing 'vettes and a nice tribute to Duntov as well.

This item is still shrinkwrap sealed. Would accept £15inc P&P

2. America's Favorite Cars: The Complete Corvette 50th Anniversary (single disc)

Amazon description:

Release Date: October 5, 2004
Classification: Unrated (US MPAA rating. See details.)
Edition Details:
• Region 1
• Colour, Special Edition, NTSC
• ASIN: B0002Y69UY

I have absolutely no idea what is on this disc. Perhaps whoever buys it could tell me!!!

This disc has been removed from the shrinkwrap (had to test one of them) but has never been viewed (obviously). Would accept £5 inc P&P

Or, have both for £18 inc P&P

If you're interested, e-mail me on kbk13@dial.pipex.com

I only pop in rarely so a PM could take a while to be read.

Remember that both are Region 1 NTSC discs and need a multi region TV and DVD to be viewed here.
