From Autotrader site:

Around £55K sounds a bit steep though..that's nearly $100,000.

£55 grand is far too much, especially considering the $ price of the car ... *and* the £'s exchange rate at the moment...

I'm sure GM will have thought this through...

nuff sed. I think there will be a few cars initially sold at these prices but things should then settle to a more realistic level. There's sure to be Euro cars at sensible prices on the Continent pretty soon so there doesn't seem much point taking a chance on an expensive US import at this stage. The Sunday Express apparently said there will be official UK cars bur you can bet your life this is just GM trying to cash in on any initial demand for a scarce car and dealer support will be just as pitiful as has been experienced by C5 owners. Can't help thinking Monaro owners are in for similar treatment.

What I would like to see (although selflishly so!) is a repeat of last time's effort by GM, as I picked up my nice Cadillac, 3 years old, at a silly price: on that, we could see for example a nice Z06-powered Cadillac CTS-V for 10-15 grand, 3 years old...

I'd certainly be tempted!!

( [Un?] fortunately, the 'vette doesn't suffer such depreciation... )
