Knowing nothing more than what a dealer told me recently, isn't there supposed to be a Z06-like suspension set-up etc as an option (at $$$$ extra cost)?

Perhaps he didn't spend the extra cash? I thought the car was supposed to be good... just ugly :-)

This one did have the Z51 suspension and all the toys.

He's not saying it's a bad car, quite the opposite, he's saying it's more refined and to put it bluntly, boring. I think the element I was most surprised with when I bought my Z06 is how raw it feels which is why I always think of it more in terms of an American TVR. His basic criticism is that the C6 has removed the fun element in search of becoming more refined.

Back when I bought and ran my Z06 in the US, the thing I liked about it was that it was a comfortable daily driver with reasonable levels of comfort and sufficiently low noise... but always lying just underneath the surface was an extremely naughty, raucus child :-)

Maybe they let the child grow up??
