Beautiful - and only 12.5k? Indonesia, but still, I am missing something...? Is it anyone here?

Seems cheap for such a clean car, very oddly located and scammish in the extreme.

Me too - but the description and the pictures seem accurate, someone who knows something about corvettes anyway... Usually the scams are in poor English and with mistakes in the detail about the car..

(off to check shipping costs from Indonesia)

Emailed the guy "gus" about this and got a reply yesterday with details of the VIN number.
It isn't a 1964, might be a '65 or '66 but waiting for him to confirm the VIN as the one he quoted was missing a digit, but looking at the car it could be a very early 1965 as the VIN is less than 1000 into the 1965 production run. The clincher will be the brakes. i.e. drum or disk.

Will let you know all the details once I have them BTW ahead of you on the shipping....would have to get the car from Indonesia to Singapore which is across the Straits of Malacca (sp).

The same guy (Irman Gusman from his profile) appears to also be selling a GT500 Mustang here with a similar contact number:

www.uk-classic-cars.com/forsale/index.php?cat=21&viewitem=141&f=11

Same car, with a different contact number:

www.usedcarmart.co.uk/page-23959.html

and again here with a different number:

www.fastautosales.com/cars/ads/ford/213/42803

And this is Irmans site...

www.indogarage.com/about.html

Could be legit, but seems a bit bizarre having 4 different phone numbers and a site with no Inventory..

Thanks for that Nath!

The words "cut" and "shut" leap loudly from their front page....."specialising in collision services"

That would explain why a 1964 Corvette has a 1965 or later engine config and a 1964 interior with a 1965 or 1966 VIN.

Looking back on their site I would say they are legit, but they obviously advertise customer cars.
The 'stang being an example.

I will try to find out as much as I can about the vette, 'cos it might me okay, but without a lot more info and an inspection it would be one hell of a risk.

I've received a couple of emails from them now, and some extra pictures. You might be right, as he keeps stressing "never wrecked" and "95% complete". On the other hand, he says he is the original owner...
Oh, and the price includes shipping. If it's legit, the price of a flight might be worth it...
