C6 brochure arrived this morning from the nice people at Corvette Europe in Eindhoven. Pix look like USA spec cars (red tail lamps and rear side markers) so the riddle of the Euro wide front number plate mounting remains unanswered for the time being. Cars do look good though.

I had a poke around one the other week. Looks a lot better in the flesh than the pics IMO. It was a white one as well (hot climate friendly I suppose).

The American Carriage Company at Castleneau (road name) in Barnes have a silver coupe in the showroom should you feel the need to hhave a closer look. Can't tell you if its a American or Euro spec though as the showroom was closed when I looked.

....but not for long. Motoring section of today's Telegraph has shots of back and front of C6. Rear photo shows amber indicator segments in lower part of tail lamps so not much different from C5. Front photo shows full width Euro number plate on black rubber mounting.

The article is not about the Vette specifically but a Cadillac SRX/Chevrolet Trailblazer/Corvette C6 (you work it out) PR event on a frozen lake in Sweden. Apparently "driving a Corvette on ice is as hair-raising as it gets"!

I think all cars with Xenons have washers fitted by the manufacturers as standard. Maybe they have to do it otherwise the self levelling headlights don't work correctly. That's how it worked on my Cooper S.
