Vettes spotted

Spotted a silver C5 on the back of a lorry going north on the M11 yesterday, a black C5 in Southend the day before.....and a yellow C5 in London parked down the road to the regular silver C5 that parks there.
damm vettes are getting common, perhaps I should move on to something a bit less common.

Please clarify "wide body reg". Is it:
a) the nickname of a fat bloke called Reginald who hangs around Boringstoke
b) some form of aftermarket goody
c) a reference to how you mount a number plate on a C6
d) something else

Had a short chat with a guy in a yellow C5 coupe in Kingston today. Can't tell you his name or reg' as we were just stopped side by side for a couple of seconds.
He didn't look ready to retire to Bournemouth yet despite the yellow car......
Blimey - another bloke called Reg. Not everyone in Bournemouth is retired - it just looks and feels that way when you drive round the area.

1. Do not retire to Bournemouth unless your name is Reg
2. Do not pick up drivers of yellow corvettes
3. Reg has a wide body (obviously using eating as comfort, as strange people keep talking to him & he can get nobody to see out his days in Bournemouth)
4. There is a proliferation of yellow vets in the SW who may join Reg in Bournemouth (U no who u r)
5. There is only one Gay in the village
Oh nearly forgot ALL CORVETTES ARE RED, and now we all know why yellow vets are the fastest!! (CHASE ME, CHASE ME!!

Quite right YELLOW is the fastest colour for a vette....

If every Corvette is Red, how come the Z06 promotional stuff features a blue one? And of course the '53 tempted you to choose white

The Red C5 is Y8 ODY (Y Body), it's a guy called Gary Walsh who owns a C5 convertible, works for IBM....do you need any other info on the guy?

I would like to stress that whilst most Bournemouth based Vette owners are indeed OAPs, the often confused with Poole has a much more discerning younger population

Was that the Silver C5 on the back of the lorry the rag top with 20" rims from De Stefano's in Chadwell Heath. They were trying to sell it for several months and (in my opinion)was a little overpriced. They have since given the showrooms up!!!!
