WHEELS DAY
GOOD FRIDAY 25th MARCH 2005
RUSMOOR ARENA, ALDERSHOT

Historically, this show has been the season opener and was previously held at Brooklands before moving to The Rushmoor Arena, Aldershot last year.

2004 saw 2000+ vehicles in attendance ranging from Street Rods, Custom Cars, Yanks, Bikes, Vans, British Classics, Historic Vehicles and Dragsters.

For Wheels Day 2005 there will be a fun fair for the children, trade stands, craft stalls and music all day. The show opens to the public at 10:00am and closes at 4:00pm. Entry is £5.00 per person. Children and Senior Citizens free.

There are usually a few Vettes dotted around, but this year I thought that we could try and park up together by arriving together. For those attending I suggest we meet at Fleet Services (M3 Northbound) leaving at 10.00. For anyone that wants to join us en route, we will exit the M3 at junction 4a taking the A327 and A323 to the Arena.

I've also posted this on the CCCUK website.

I will already be there with my stand but Vetteless, I am afraid. Got so much stuff to take to the shows now that I have to take the truck

Ok guys - suggest we meet at Moving Parts stand for say 11.00 am for coffee - just make out you want some stuff imported and we could be on for biscuits too.

No probs - you buy the fridge and I'll tinker with my original posting:-

Ok guys - suggest we meet at Moving Parts stand for say 11.00 am for a cold beer - just make out you want some stuff imported and we could be on for another cold beer.

You are seriously missing the point here Rich! I'm the one that needs catering for. Standing there hoping someone will talk to me and some kind Samaritan will get me a cup of tea as I cannot leave the stand. Now if I could just find someone to have a pee for me......

Right - I see what you mean. There are two solutions.

Firstly, whilst you go for a pee, I can cover the stand for you, drink the beer from your new fridge and earn loads of money (just like you do) at the same time.

The second solution is a catheter.

Which is it to be??

I'm just off to see my dad at Frimley Park Hospital. He's getting better and having his catheter removed today. Should I bring it along for you? (I'll give it a run thru with dettol or unleaded first - whatever you prefer...).

Right... we're sorta sorted. Vette is washed (not polished unfortunately - no time). Dad is out of hospital tonight and his catheter is removed, nice and clean and smelling of super unleaded in the back of my car. So, all we need is a pair of rubber gloves, 5 heavies to hold Eric down and a nurse (preferably the hairy, fifteen stone variety to avoid any embarassment...)

Eric.... Eric.... whaddya mean you've gotta go to Scotland.... ERIIIICCCC.... think of the missed revenue!!

See ya at around 10 at Fleet . It's Stella time (no she's not the fifteen stone nurse... fortunately its more like.... )

Plan to meet you guys at Fleet services at 10, along with a couple of others from Sussex. Felt a bit of a wally washing the car in the dark, but it beats getting up too early...
