C6 tiptronic

Can't be bothered registering but for what it's worth, Tiptronic should be a nice halfway house between the auto freaks and the he-man heavy manual shifter. Not sure we can trust the Americans to get it right - is it a manual gearbox tiptronic or essentially a column shift auto. LOL.

Academic as I hate the C6. Might be interested in one in a C7 when it stops looking like a Pontiac Aztek.

Hope it's a good system because most of those things are either a complete waste of time (same old auto tranny with different actuation) or shift so hard you think your car's being driven by a gorilla. Main question is whether it really is a 6 speed for quicker acceleration off the line and quieter high speed cruising. IMO trying to sell £50,000 cars in Europe in 2005 with a 4-speed auto is pure comedy.
