wheel spacers ??? yes/no ? Cr£*p.. ?

I bought some 17" alloys cheap for the dear but the rears sit a bit inboard due to too much offset. any of you lovely vette boys (or girls) had any experience of wheel spacers. The camaros got hottish motor and I don't wanna be leaving a wheel behind on the North Circular after embarassing Golf gti's.

Got spacers on my 97 SS, due to adding brembos at the front, never had a problem with the wheels falling off
