We're over here! It's great, so should have some fun with the C4/ZR1 meet over the weekend!

Sorry to rub that in for anyone currently back in blighty...

The Corvette Forum i8s having its annual cruise in there at the end of May. We should have several hundred Vettes there. Dave Hill will be there with the new Z06 for us to play with.

Yes it is true that having organised the entire trip for the 50th, I didn't read the small print and turned up for the factory tour in sandals. However I found that if you run round the Bowling Green car park like a lunatic shouting "I'm from England, can I borrow your shoes please" it doesn't take long for some American to oblige, if only to shut you up!!

Tour was great, as was go-karting, various meals and the drag racing tonight.

As for Z06's, there were at least two C6 Z06's hanging around, a bronze one and a black one. The GM plant employee we spoke to on the tour told us they weren't allowed to talk about the top speed either...

We didn't have Dave Hill, but instead Dave Mclellan, a bit more relevant to the ZR1/C4 gathering!

Oh, and we saw a handful of the Z06's going down the production line too.

Would recommend a trip to Bowling Green to anyone, the place itself, despite being described as a 'small town' boasts all sorts to do. Thanks to Nutz for sorting out the organising and the details.

Think Gixer will soon be posting photies and maybe some vids too

PS Double thanks to Mr Cowlam for letting me drive his LT1 and trash his clutch - sorry mate!!

$210.50.

Not too bad considering that the guy racing the Enzo (and winning) got jailed and bailed out later by the Enzo driver on the way to BG.

I blame FranV8 - he was in the front with me and was a rubbish lookout

Ahh... so it was YOUR fault huh?

Do I know the poor guy that got temporarily jailed. Please email me privately if you think I do.
