C4 Battery Dimensions

Velveteen needs a new battery and I need to know the size of the AC Delco battery fitted as standard to the C4. The model number is ACD75-60 but I can't get to measure the battery until Friday. Can an of the other C4 owners on here help by posting the dimensions height x width x depth in mm please.

Mines 9" long........then its about 6 and 3/4 wide by just under 7 1/2 high.

Just checked mine but in inches!! approx 7 high x 9 wide x 7 deep, sits in a sort of tray and has a foam surround so may be very slightly smaller than these sizes.

Damn - could have saved you £20 on that! Ond it would have been ex stock from a local Vauxhall dealer. For reference, it's a Vauxhaul Sintra batery (A nice MPV thing) - side posts and the lot. That's where I got th battery after getting advice from a friend who's a Camaro owner. It's been working well in my car for a couple of years now.

Excellent tip Fran, is it the same cold cranking amps? (CCA should = 680)

You should send that into the club magazine and also put it on the club website if it is true.
